Okay, this is going to be a computer related entry so if you don't like geeky stuffS, please ignore :P
I'm finally getting a new system!! After much thinking and contemplating, I decided to purchase a laptop later (when the systems get better AND when I actually have money for a decent laptop), and instead, upgrade my desktop.
I was looking around for a decent system for ~$600 MAX but I after many cyber visits to NCIX and ANITEC, the specs for their $600 systems were just so-so.
Evan (coworker) "Why don't you just build your own system??"
Me: Well I don't know how.
E: "Hell I'll do it!! I do it for fuN!!"
Later that night, an email came from Sean (my coworker) asking if I want to buy parts from him and that he wanted to build my system (dun dun dun!)
At this moment I realized:
1) News travel fast.
2) I have very helpful coworkers.
3) I have very geeky coworkers.
(I guess that's why we all get along :P)
I actually enjoy removing viruses and spyware off people's computers and cleaning out their computers!

Sean says it'll be ready by this weekend. He will be installing a bunch of programs on it also (i.e. SIMS 2!!) Woo, let's see me get some studying done this weekend.
< /geek entry >
First, I'll like to clarify my title. "Why curly-haired men are no longer attractive" refers to a specific incident that happened over the weekend and "The search continues" refers to me looking for post-undergrad jobs (which is really quite fun, btw!)
I've been on the hunt for good jobs and it's actually quite exciting! I actually DO enjoy job searching and learning about all the available jobs out there (well, minus those ones that require me to have 10 years of relevant work experience i.e. Ebay). I realized that I stress much more on finding a job in which I can grow and develop my skills than one that pays extremely well but would not allow me to learn. Wow, that sounded extremely geeky. Signs of maturity? No? Just geeky? Okay.
As for the other half of my title...well. I have this fondness for curly-haired guys...think Trevor Linden (what? I can have my momentary teenybopper moments too!) But after Sunday's incident, I think I might have to rethink that.
So after dinner at Griffns, Mel and I were at Shoppers Drug Mart at Broadway and Victoria at 11:00PM (yes, I know...you were WHERE WHEN?!) So while Mel was browsing through one isle, I went to the shampoo section to sniff all the bottles and close them (kidding). Out of no where appeared this curly-haired middle aged man, wided-eyed and smiling at me.
CHM: Are you Japanese?
Me: Err...no.
CHM: Korean?
Me: Err...no.
CHM: Would you like to go for a drink?
Me: Err...no. (slowly walk away)
Yea so I can kiss the curly-haired men attraction good-bye.
