The Wall has Been Stormed

THAT was so much fun.

Throughout the day, I was literally weak to the knees like how someone is when they're in love. Going across that Wall happened so fast. The adrenaline was pumping, the pain was put aside, there was no time to think, every thing was a blur. Then BAM! We were all over. The group never all met up to practice, nor did we practice going up the wall in any sequence.

Everyone did a great job! I think our time would’ve been even better if our swimmer did the front crawl instead of the breast stroke O_o. I didn’t know anyone in the team prior to last week, but we all just hit it off so well. So my conclusion is, “You can trust strangers to throw you over the wall.” I did and I’m still in one piece :D

I know this doesn’t have anything to do w/ Storm the Wall, but I wanted to post this pic for Vic :P

Gregory Siren 40 Pack

Yea, I've been eyeing it for year(s). It was on sale and you know I can't resist you, sales. So happy early bday and early grad present for myself.

Woot :P

I LOVE IT!!! I've been wanting a bigger (or rather only) weekend pack for awhile now. This one just rocks. Who wants to go camping???

The Siren is not just a shrunken version of a man’s pack — features such as a proportionately narrower back panel and a Women’s Stealth™ carrying harness provide a glove-like fit for all-day comfort. Sized for long day trips or overnighters, the Siren is suitable for carrying up to 16kg depending on the wearer.

* Body is made with 210-denier "double box" Cordura nylon fabric – lightweight and durable.
* Shelter-Rite® bottom is waterproof and virtually tearproof.
* Multi-Cant™ waistbelt adapts to individual hip shapes.
* Auto Cant™ system rotates the shoulder harness angle to match the wearer’s shoulder slope and neck width.
* Single 7001 T6 aluminum stay and hourglass-shaped HDPE framesheet are stiff to support the load, yet torsionally flexible to allow mobility.
* Backpanel has a breathable Aerotech™ mesh and a chimney ventilation channel for comfort.
* Top, front, and bottom openings for easy access and organization.
* Weather-resistant, polyurethane-coated YKK® zippers on upper lid and top pocket.
* Front pocket with access into main pack.
* Floating lid and spindrift collar allow packing oversize loads.
* Adjustable rope strap under floating lid.
* Twin mesh side pockets.
* Twin tubing-stiffened gear loops on sides.
* Ice axe loop and strap.

Closet Teenybopper

So how does this

turn into this
?

Long gone are those Breaker High days for Ryan Gosling. Yea, yea, he doesn’t look that hot, but consider this…I used to think Gavin Rossdale was hot :P But anyway, if you see him in the “Notebook”, you would fall in love with him too. I finally got a copy of the Notebook and it takes the spot of best romance movie eva~!

:P

I did the Storm the Wall practice today…did you know 13ft is a lot higher when you’re right next to the wall? I learned that today. But I got to say that it’s truly exhilarating during that brief moment you’re standing on someone’s shoulder and your body is vertical against the wall with nothing to grip onto. I also learned that jumping while you’re on someone’s shoulder is not a good idea.

Bahumbuggie

I feel very bahumbuggie today. It goes away tomorrow. But today is bahumbuggie nonetheless. Ever have one of those days, or even those moments, where you wonder what parts are really you and what parts are just …

I can’t even finish my thought coherently.

Ah right. It is almost 3 afterall.

I should stop watching TV. It messes up the head yknow.

I’M SO ADDICTED TO GILMORE GIRLS AND IT’S SO SAD BECAUSE I AM SUCH A DORK BECAUSE I READ THROUGH WHAT HAPPENED IN ALL 5 SEASONS!! !!! !!!

It’s all Lil’s fault damnit. “You should watch Gilmore Girls, Viv. You’ll love it!!!111” BAAAH. Life becomes bland when you compare to stooped tv

I should just go to bed…

I want to be 17.

Oh, I think I’m all better now

What’s on your mind today?

UPDATE: The morning after…

Hahaha, wow. Okay, so it was definitely a moment kind of thing ‘cause that post was the most nonsense post (..amongst many nonsense posts) I’ve ever written. :P It’s so sunny!!!!!!!! I live for these days.

Let's talk man to man, woman to woman...

There's actually a lot of truth in that cheesy phrase.

Who knew that men talk and women talk were so different? It's a generalization, I know. But at the same time, you know it's true. With women, you have to be emotionally sensitive and in-tune with feelings. Use sentences full of "Can you please" or "Would you mind" or "I've noticed that you look a little down". Whereas with guys...well blunt and straight forward is the way to go. "Hey, can you get this done by this and this" or "What's wrong with you?" is not rude nor demeaning...no, no, it is guy talk.

I'm working with a group of 5 guys for my CS422 class...I have got a lot to learn, please.

Thank you.
